Unit Pengimejan Perubatan

Medical Imaging has been in operation since 2011, and this unit is equipped with computed radiography for general radiography. This unit received patients both internally and from the surrounding community. By using computed radiography, all pictures may be interpolated online within UMT networking, and the imaging process can be completed significantly faster than with traditional methods. In the future, this unit wishes to introduce a filmless approach, where all images for internal or external patients can be perceived from outside the campus.

Unit Makmal

Medical laboratory services are used to perform diagnostic tests and analyze patient health by executing health tests requested by the medical office and sent via an online system or MyMedic. This unit focuses on ensuring that all tests done are completed within (1) one day and 1-5 days for outsourced laboratory testing. The medical laboratory always ensures that all modalities are ready for use so that the results are accurate and within an acceptable range.

Despite this, this unit also performs medical tests for Routine Medical Check-Ups (RME) for local and international students, the community, and staff families. The medical laboratory is a critical facility that ensures these facilities work smoothly.

  • Conduct a test for local and international students, staff, and their dependents.
  • Maintain optimal conditions for all laboratory devices to ensure reliable results.
  • Participated in departmental and NGO-organized programs to promote physical and mental health in the local community.
